Situated also on the ground floor across the hallway from the Blue room in the old part of the house, is the Green room, a beautiful grand space with west facing windows looking onto the front garden, perfect for relaxing and dining in, it has big lovely squishy sofas to curl up in, an oak wooden floor with underfloor heating and an open fire.  Beautiful original features include pillars which act as a connection from the living area to the dining area, which has a large dining table that can accommodate 10 people.  The Green room leads into the dining area of the kitchen and another doorway leads into the summer house.
